Since last Friday, following the return of Mrs Holguin we are being\u00a0 <\/span>asked if we have requested to see madame Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngela Holgu\u00edn \u00a0 <\/span>Cu\u00e9llar, \u00a0 <\/span>in order to raise the case of the refugees and displaced\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>people, \u00a0 <\/span>having \u00a0 <\/span>to do with the restoration of our Human Rights so brutally violated following \u00a0 <\/span>our ethnic cleansing in 1974 \u00a0 <\/span>after \u00a0 <\/span>the Turkish \u00a0 <\/span>military \u00a0 <\/span>invasion and \u00a0 <\/span>occupation \u00a0 <\/span>of the North of Cyprus.\u00a0 <\/span>The answer is\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>No.\u00a0 <\/span>We did not request a meeting, because, Mrs Holguin is not \u00a0 <\/span>here \u00a0 <\/span>with a mandate in line with the Charter of the \u00a0 <\/span>UN, to tackle the invasion and occupation of Cyprus \u00a0 <\/span>by Turkey, or, the flagrant violation of \u00a0 <\/span>sovereign \u00a0 <\/span>rights of the Republic of Cyprus, nor the flagrant violation of the Human Rights of \u00a0 <\/span>us\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>refugees. Her mandate is to promote among our people the policy of appeasement of the invader and compromise with the invasion and its consequences. Her mandate is to change the NO vote of our people to a YES vote to a new, worse \u00a0 <\/span>version of ANNAN plan.\u00a0 <\/span>That is why she, herself, or after she was advised to do so, she avoided us the last\u00a0 <\/span>time she was here. She did not even answer our letters. This time she is here on a mission on the request of \u00a0 <\/span>our \u00a0 <\/span>Government<\/b> \u00a0 <\/span>to organize the \u00a0 <\/span>CBM\u00a0 <\/span>(\u039c\u039f\u0395) \u00abgames \u00a0 <\/span>of 2025\u00bb, as a prelude to the resuming \u00a0 <\/span>of \u00a0 <\/span>the bicommunal discussions in order to conclude the cycle of turning the current unacceptable, according to the president of Cyprus, DE FACTO situation in Cyprus \u00a0 <\/span>into DE YURE, i.e.\u00a0 <\/span>to legalize the \u00a0 <\/span>current \u00a0 <\/span>void \u00a0 <\/span>and \u00a0 <\/span>illegal \u00a0 <\/span>by UN Security Council Resolutions 541 and 550, regime, in the occupied areas of Cyprus, thus rewarding Turkey for its aggression, crimes against Humanity, the partition of Cyprus and the racist separation of the population of Cyprus.\u00a0 <\/span>The British-Turkish conspiracy, according to the British Foreign Office Documents, formulated for the partition of Cyprus in 1956, allocated to the UN the role to serve the people of Cyprus with the partition plan for easy acceptance. We urge Mrs Holguin to consider the historical facts\u00a0 <\/span>and avoid to be the wrong-doer\u00a0 <\/span>in the case of Cyprus and we are at her disposal for talks.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Accred\u03b9\u03c4ed UN Officials\u00a0 <\/span>should be assigned\u00a0 <\/span>to missions having to do with the restoration of the rule of Law under the UN CHARTER\u00a0 <\/span>werever it is violated and irrespective by whome. Such is the case of Cyprus: the brutal occupation of Cyprus by Turkey and the gross violation of our Human Rights, NOT the CBMs. It is a case of gross violation of the UN CHARTER and action is necessary to have the violations restored.<\/p>\n
